Day 01:
Departure from Kampala to Fort portal, lying in the shadow of the mountains of the moon. Afternoon visit to Magombe swamp and Bigodi wetland sanctuary, take guided swamp walk to see smaller animals and primates. Find the rare red colubus monkeys and the Sitatungas. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Camp or your place of choice. There are different places for accommodation including; Montana kibale camp, Kanyanchu river camp and others.
Day 02:
After breakfast, proceed for the trekking of the Chimpanzee and other primates including l’hoestes, red colubus, blues, and red tailed and gray-cheeked mangabey. The guide will provide detailed explanations on primates and forest flora and fauna. The walk is both informative and enjoyable. Dinners and overnight stay at Kibale tented camp.
Day 03:
Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park trekking the Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey. An attractive game drive with views of the big five animals and others. See Uganda kob, baboon, lion, elephant, buffalo, hyena, chimpanzees and the giant forest hogs. After the game drive enjoy your lunch as you prepare for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel and into lake Edward passing through the place of the highest concentration of hippos and other animals basking in the waters. The launch cruise is an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya safari lodge or Jacana safari lodge.
Day 04:
Early morning game drive after breakfast in the rich ecosystem of tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes, savannah vegetation and volcanic craters home to an incredibly large numbers of wildlife providing an excellent opportunity to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, cape buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda cob, topi and bush buck. These two game drives and the boat trip.
Day 05:
Drive through the Kigezi highlands popularly referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa” with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Kisoro or Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at Volcano Tented Camp.
Day 06:
Very early in the morning prepare for the gorilla tracking in the Bwindi rainforest. What is more striking is the steepness of the dense forested valleys with numerous animal trails making it accessible to tourists. Passing through numerous forest trails, it creates a clear view of mammals including the endangered mountain gorillas, rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephant, black-fronted duiker, bushbuck, leopard, and giant forest hog etc. Bwindi is popularly known for its fascinating gorillas. Looking deep into the expressive brown eyes of these gentle giants is surely the most exciting and poignant wildlife encounter that Africa has to offer. Day 7:
Early morning after breakfast, return back to Kampala with stopovers enroute to view the attractions and lunch in Mbarara.
Depart from your residence northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle with a stop over at Masindi Town for lunch after which proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. On arriving proceed to the dramatic falls, which are captivating where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected! While at the Murchison Falls, enjoy the sunset as you return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge or Nile safari Camp.
Day 02:
Prepare very early in the morning and after breakfast to cross the Victoria Nile to the Northern bank. The Nile itself hosts one of Africa’s densest hippo and crocodile populations. In the lush borassus grassland to the north of the Nile, elephant, buffalo, giraffe and a variety of antelope are regularly encountered on game drives, while lions are seen with increasing frequency. After enjoying a packed lunch go for a boat trip to the lake Albert delta that provides the best chance in Africa of sighting shoebills. This is also a zone of dazzling variety of water birds including bird species like goliath herons, Egyptian gooses, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, hornbills, and cormorants. Day 03:
Drive through Hoima to Fort Portal and get a glimpse of the way of living of the African setting and agriculture. You will reach Fort Portal late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge or Kabali Tented Camp.
Day 04:

Other primates include; red tailed and gray cheeked Mangabey, red colubus monkeys, and phoetes. Day 05;
Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park and view the majestic Rwenzori mountain range along. Viewing almost 100 mammal species makes this superb safari territory, with elephant, a profusion of hippos, the elusive giant hog and the handsome Uganda kob all regularly sighted around the tourist village on the Mweya Peninsula an exciting experience in a game drive. Also available is chimp tracking. After lunch enjoy a launch trip on the Kazinga channel into the lake Edward which offers great game viewing. This is an excellent view for taking photographs and bird watching (over 606 bird species). Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or the Jacana Safari Lodge.
Day 06:

Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse Eco system of savannah to rainforest, from dense papyrus swamps and brooding crater lakes to the vastness of lake Edward, it is little wonder that the park boasts one of highest biodiversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzoris as a backdrop, provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda kob, topi and bushbuck. These two game drives and the boat trip [taken prior] are memorable methods of discovering a vast array of Ugandan wildlife.
Day 07:
Go for an early morning walk in Maramagambo forest, which is a home to an alluring selection of forest monkeys, chimpanzee and birds, and flocks of flamingos are resident on the crater lakes. Visitors can climb through tropical forest and catch a glimpse of a variety of primates. Visit the bat caves and the ‘Blue Lake’. Drive to Kampala, with a stop over in Mbarara for lunch, and there will be time to stop at the Equator for photographs. Arrive in Kampala early evening.
Meet at the Entebbe international airport and head to Kampala from where you will arrange and transfer to Fort Portal with stop over for lunch enroute and the Equator for photos. Continue through Western Rift valley towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will view a stunning panorama of lakes George and Edward amidst game filled plains. In the evening proceed for a two hours boat cruise on the Kazinga channel and into lake Edward. The trip passes through possibly the highest hippo concentration in Africa and many mammals may be seen drinking at the waters’ edge. The cruise offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The bird life is colorful and abundant. Return for dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Jacana safari lodge.
Day 02:

Day 04:
Proceed to Bwindi impenetrable forest through the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ area known as Kigezi highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads. Pass through Isasha Sector, which is famed for its tree-climbing lions, the Kyambura gorge, harbors chimps. Dinner and overnight at Travelers’ Rest Camp.
Day 05:
Tracking gorillas in Bwindi is a simply amazing chance to see fascinating endangered gorillas. Dinner and overnight stay in Travelers’ Rest Camp.
Day 06:
Drive back to Kampala with a stop over for lunch on the way. Enroute stop over at the Equator an emergency line that divides the earth into two equal parts. It offers a steep dense forested landscape, crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, which makes it easy be for the tourists to see the animals. The resident mammals include the endangered Mt. Gorilla, bushbuck, leopard, rare golden monkey, giant forest hog, buffalo, elephant, black fronted duiker, and others. This park is best known for the fascinating relatives of man “The gorillas.”. The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movements of the marvelous primates. Wonderful time is spending time listening to songs of the many bird species and observing the gorillas which is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure. The gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma homestead, Montana Tented Camp, Buhoma Community Campground or Volcano Tented Camp.
Day 09:
Have another drive through the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Kisoro or Bwindi. Dinner and overnight stay at Volcanic Camp.
Day 10:
Gorilla tracking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Also see elephants, giant forest hogs, the rare golden monkey and the uncommon blue monkey Dinner and overnight at Travelers’ Rest Camp.
Day 11:
Transfer to lake Bunyonyi. This mountain tarn is surrounded by terrace hills. Enjoy bilharzias free swimming, dug out canoeing; sunbathing, hilly walks are mountain bike riding and craw fishing. Dinner and overnight stay at the Bunyonyi Overland Camp
Day 12:
Prepare to go after breakfast, for a leisurely drive to lake Mburo national park. Enter the park through the Nshara gate. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive along the lakeshore track with its own system of game trail and cleared walkways, the ‘kigambara Loop’ offers interesting guided lakeside walks where you can find herds of Zebra, impala, warthog, baboons, velvets, eland, Oribi and topi are easily accessed. After lunch enjoy a boat trip on lake Mburo and expect to view crocodiles and hippos. Bird watchers will enjoy more than 250 species of birds found in lake Mburo. The most interesting birds are; crested crane (Uganda’s national emblem), saddle bill storks and Abyssinian ground hornbills. Then return to Rwonyo rest camp dinners and overnight
Day 13:
Morning guided game drive or a safari walk. There is a lot that are interesting including the Kopjes, klipspringers and topis. It is amusing to see Zebra grazing alongside the cattle peacefully. This is due to cattle herding of the Ankole long horned cattle in the area. Return for lunch taken while enjoying the view of the fresh water lakes in this park. Enjoy the boat ride on lake Mburo and get quite close to the crocodiles and hippos. This is the only park where you are not entirely imprisoned in a vehicle. Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo Rest camp
Day 14:
After breakfast, go for another game drive. After lunch drive back to Kampala, stopping at Mpigi Royal Drum Makers enroute where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through generations. There will also be time to stop at the Equator for photographs. You arrive in Kampala in the early evening.

Expect to see mammals like the endangered Mountain Gorillas, elephant, black fronted duiker, rare golden monkey, buffalo, bushbuck, leopard, giant forest hog and extra. The time taken varies with the primates’ movement. It is very exciting and awesome to spend time and take photographs as these primates interact. Dinner and overnight stay at Volcano Tented Camp.
Day 11:
Go for a forest walk using the fantastic hiking trails on which you will have opportunities to see and learn about primates, many species of birds, butterflies, trees and other organisms. The guide’s company is obligatory and affords a clear understanding. You will see the picturesque triple waterfalls. Look over the panoramas of Congo and down south to Rwanda. Day 12:
Transfer early morning to Isasha area of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Isasha is a true pearl in the southern part of the park. Idyllic campsites frequently visited by colobus and other monkeys situated along the winding Isasha River. The famous tree-climbing lions can be spotted on large fig trees in this part of the park. Topi, Uganda kobs and buffaloes graze in the acacia studded savannah. The scenic beauty, the size of the euphorbia and the combinations of riverine forest, Savannah plain and equatorial forest makes this a memorable day, only found in Africa. 8 DAYS HIKE TO MOUNTAIN ELGON (aba 13)
Day 1:
Meet and greet at 8:30 and head to Jinja. On the way to Jinja visit the mystical Ssezibwa falls. You can therefore visit some of the exciting places in Jinja town with the help of our drivers. The places may include the source of the Nile and Bujagali Falls. Dinner and overnight at Jinja Nile Resort.
Day 2:
Early in the morning after breakfast you will enjoy visiting Mabira Forest for an interesting forest walk. Return to Jinja for lunch and after lunch you will enjoy traditional dances by the local Basoga people at the Bujagali falls. Here there are many options; such as swimming, boat rides, floating on the mighty Nile. In the evening return for the dinner and overnight at Jinja Nile Resort.
Day 3:
After early breakfast leave for Mt. Elgon in Eastern Uganda. Transfer to Sipi Falls. After lunch, hike to the falls and then return to your camp next to Sipi Falls for dinner and overnight.
Day 4:
The popular forest exploration center trail loop site can make one enjoy the cool mist at Chebonet falls, Kapkwai cave, the talking tree and a spectacular view point, which lies just beyond.
Day 5:
Hike up to the rim of the calderas through beautiful columns of lobelia Elgonensis. Visit the hot springs and Suam Gorge
Day 6:
After breakfast, then ascend to the top of the caldera to the Waggling peak at 4321m, Descend therefore through the Jackson Summit and the Jackson pool and overnight at Mude Camp 3500m.
Day 7:
Early morning after breakfast, descend through the Sasa trail to Budadiri then travel to Mbale town and then to Kampala to prepare for your departure. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Africana in Kampala.
Day 8
Mid morning proceed for a tour of Kampala city. Among the attraction are Kabaka’s lake, Cathedrals, Kisingiri house, Kasubi Tombs, Makerere University, Uganda museum and the Bahai temple. Also you can make shopping at the Uganda Crafts village where you can buy curios, souvenirs and mementos to remind you of your Uganda tour and also as gifts for your family and friends back home.
Aba shuttle will pick you from the airport on arrival and you will be transferred to Windsor in Entebbe from where you will be briefed about the tour. Depending on the time, you will watch birds in Entebbe. After which you will retire to your residence.
Day 2:
Prepare for a whole day birding at the Botanical gardens, around the Entebbe area, Lutembe beach and the Zika forest. Expect to view birds like weavers, sunbirds, black herons and a variety of birds depending on the season. Dinner and overnight at Botanical hotel
Day 3:
Move from Botanical hotel and go to Mabamba swamp for the Shoebill stork and a variety of other bird species. After that proceed to Lake Mburo National Park and visit the Kaaku swamp to see birds like Lesser Moorhen, jacana, the heron and a variety of other birds plus lunch in Mbarara. After that proceed to Lake Mburo National park for dinner and overnight at Rwonyo rest camp.
Day 4:
On this day, go for a morning birding and mammals. The park boasts of more than 315 different bird species including the rare shoebill stork, papyrus yellow warbler, African fin foot, saddle billed stork, brown chested wattled plover, Caruthers’s cist cola, tabora cist cola, great snipe, Abyssinian ground hornbill and white winged warbler. In addition expect to view animals like the antelopes, zebras and many others. After lunch go for a launch cruise. Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo rest camp.
Day 5:
Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After lunch go for a boat ride on Kazinga channel where you shall see water birds; African spoon bill, African skimmer which is seasonal and many others plus hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Jacana safari lodge.
Day 6:
Take a morning drive at Kasenyi to track savannah birds like the Martial eagle, Rupell’s griffon vulture, Temmiinck’s courser and many others. In the afternoon bird around the crater area. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Jacana safari lodge.
Aba shuttle will pick you from the airport on arrival and you will be transferred to Hotel Africana or Speke hotel in Kampala from where you will be briefed about the tour.
Day 2:
Proceed for a Kampala city tour. Among the attraction are Kabaka’s lake, Cathedrals, Kisingiri house, Kasubi Tombs, Makerere University, Uganda museum and the Bahai temple. Also you can make shopping at the Uganda Crafts village where you can buy curios, souvenirs and mementos to remind you of your Uganda tour and also as gifts for your family and friends back home. Return to your residence.
Day 3:
After breakfast head for Fort Portal via Mityana and Mubende, have a stop over at the Nakayima shrine, a tree 400 years old, worshipped by the local people and holding spirits of ancient kings. Arrive late afternoon and you can visit caves near the Amakoomi campsite. Dinner and overnight at Amakoomi campsite.
Day 4:
Visit the Omukama of Toro palace, located of Fort Portal’s highest hill. Also there are good views of the Rwenzoris from the top of the hill. Visit the hot springs and the caves. Overnight at Amakoomi campsite.
Day 5:
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Rwenzori Mountains. In Queen Elizabeth Park you will be rewarded with seeing wild animals like buffalo, lion, leopard, hyena, elephant and a variety of antelopes. After lunch, enjoy the 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. Expect to view a lot of hippos and other animals, which may be seen basking in the sun. Also expect to view a variety of bird species on the launch cruise like the African skimmer, African fish eagle, papyrus gonolek and many others. Still to mention during the boat cruise it is very interesting to take photographs. Overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Jacana safari lodge.
Day 6:
Go to Kyambura gorge to track chimps after which proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable forest through the “Switzerland of Africa” locally known as the Kigezi highlands with terraced hillsides and winding roads. Pass through the Isasha sector and view-climbing lions. Overnight and dinner at Buhoma Rest camp.
Day 7:
Go for gorilla tracking in the morning. The rainforest can be explored at any time. It offers a steep dense forested landscape, crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, which makes it easy be for the tourists to see the animals. The resident mammals include the endangered mt. Gorilla, bushbuck, leopard, rare golden monkey, giant forest hog, buffalo, elephant, black fronted duiker, and others. This park is best known for the fascinating relatives of man “The gorillas.” The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movements of the marvelous primates. Wonderful time is spending time listening to songs of the many bird species and observing the gorillas which is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure. The gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Rest camp.
Day 8:
Transfer to Kisoro, enroute stop at Kanaba Gap to view the spectacular Virunga volcanoes and the captivating terraced hills. Visit the natural and beautiful looking lake Mutanda, surrounded by the volcanoes, you may take a walk on the shores or continue to Mgahinga national park. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Rest camp.
Day 9:
After breakfast, go for a cultural walk on lake Bunyonyi southwestern shores to view a number of villages in their setting. Here Pygmies walk over the mountains from Rwanda to sell their produce at the market at Hakekuba. Dinner and overnight stay at the Bunyonyi Overland Camp
Day 10:
Prepare to go after breakfast, for a leisurely drive to lake Mburo national park. Enter the park through the Nshara gate. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive along the lakeshore track with its own system of game trail and cleared walkways, the ‘kigambara Loop’ offers interesting guided lakeside walks where you can find herds of Zebra, impala, warthog, baboons, velvets, eland, Pribi and topi are easily accessed. After lunch enjoy a boat trip on lake Mburo and expect to view crocodiles and hippos. Bird watchers will enjoy more than 250 species of birds found in lake Mburo. The most interesting birds are; crested crane (Uganda’s national emblem), saddle bill storks and Abyssinian ground hornbills. Then return to Rwonyo rest camp dinners and overnight
Day 11:
After breakfast, go for another game drive. After lunch drive back to Kampala, stopping at Mpigi Royal Drum Makers enroute where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through generations. There will also be time to stop at the Equator for photographs. You arrive in Kampala in the early evening.
Day 12:
Meet and greet at 8:30 and head to Jinja. On the way to Jinja visit the mystical Ssezibwa falls. Visit some of the exciting places in Jinja town with the help of our driver. The places include; the source of the Nile and Bujagali Falls. In the afternoon return to Kampala. You may the theatre to enjoy a local dance/play, which is subject to availability.

8 DAYS FISHING (aba 16)
Day 1
Aba shuttle will pick you from the airport on arrival and you will be transferred to Windsor in Entebbe from where you will be briefed about the tour. Depending on the time, you will visit the Lido beach in Entebbe for a good view of lake Victoria. After which you will retire to your residence.
Day 2:
Depart from your residence northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle with a stop over at Masindi Town for lunch after which proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. On arriving proceed to the dramatic falls, which are captivating where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected! While at the Murchison Falls, enjoy the sunset as you return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge or Nile safari Camp.
Day 3:
Prepare very early in the morning and after breakfast cross the Victoria Nile to the Northern bank to go for sport fishing. Fishing for Nile perch and tiger fish attracts many anglers. The fast flowing waters above and below the falls are probably the best places from which to cast off. After enjoying a packed lunch, go for a boat trip to the lake Albert delta that provides the best chance in Africa of sighting shoebills. This is also a zone of dazzling variety of water birds including bird species like goliath herons, Egyptian gooses, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, hornbills, and cormorants. Overnight and dinner at Paraa safari lodge or Nile Safari Camp.
Day 4:
Go and fish in the big pools below the falls, which lures, live bait and flies for the large perch. In addition, there are other species that can provide excellent sporting. Picnicking and wining on these pools will be a splendid experience. Dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge or Nile safari Camp.
Day 5:
After breakfast, go to the top of the falls where you can where you the Nile's beauty perfected! Expect to see an explosion of white water, which is created by the river as it squeezes itself through a seven-meter narrow gap in a cleft of rock, to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. After lunch drive back to Entebbe. Dinner and overnight at Windsor hotel Entebbe.
Day 6:
After breakfast, go to the Uganda Wildlife Educational Centre from where you will proceed for sport fishing on lake Victoria as you go to Ngamba Island. The main method of sport fishing is trolling with lures. Overnight at G & C's tented camp on Ngamba Island.
Day 7:
Prepare to spend the whole day on lake Victoria and the nearby island for sport fishing and then retire to Entebbe. Overnight and dinner at Windsor hotel.
Day 8:
Arrange to go to the airport to catch your flight.

10 DAYS HIKE TO THE RWENZORIS "THE MOUNTAINS OF THE MOON" (aba 17)
Day 1
Aba shuttle will pick you from the airport on arrival and you will be transferred to Kasese via Kampala. Dinner and overnight in Margherita hotel.
Day 2
Begin by heading to Nyakalegija (1600 m), from Ibanda from where the trail begins and take the path to Nyabitaba hut (2651 m) about 10km for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Ascend from Nyabitaba to John Mate Hut (3505 m). You follow the ridge through the forest and then fork down sleepy to the Mubuku River. This you cross using the Kurt Schafer Bridge from where you climb up again from the other side and head to Nyamiliju where you can get your lunch. From here it is only 2 hours to John Mate Hut for overnight.
Day 4:
John Mate Hut to lake Bujuku (3962 m). Go through Bigo, past Bigo hut and on to the Bujuku hut. Lake Bujuku hut is two huts, which sleeps up to 14 people, and the conditions are recommendable.
Day 5:
Lake Bujuku to Kitandara Hut (4032 m). This route takes you through the groundsel to a scree slope. Before reaching lake Kitandara the path then descends again, next to one of the two lakes and close to the foot of Elena glaciers.
Day 6:
Lake Kitandara Hut to the Kamamba rock shelter (3779 m) or to Guy Yeoman Hut. If you go to the Guy Yeoman hut, this is a walk of about five hours. A little further on is a second, larger rock shelter called Kamamba located close to waterfall, where you can spend a night.
Day 7:
Guy Yeoman to Nyabitaba Hut (2651 m), or on to Nyakalengija (1600 m). Continue your descent via Kichuchu where there is another rock shelter. Follow the path along the ridge and down to the Nyabitaba Hut. From Nyabitaba Hut then you have to retrace your steps back to Nyakalengija.
Day 8:
From Nyabitaba Hut you can proceed to Ibanda by road in the Mubuku valley and check in hotel Margerita for overnight rest.
Day 9:
Drive back to Kampala then proceed Hotel Africana for an overnight and relaxation.
